Sometimes even 10 g. are felt. Weight is especially important in “light” and “ultralight” models. A light rod requires the same reel. If you have selected several models with approximately the same parameters, take the one which mass is less. For rods of “ultralight” and “light” classes - in the range of 180–300 g. For “medium” and “heavy” rods - heavier, since there is an emphasis on strength, the mass is not critical here.
